MG Motor: News
MG Motor is a British automobile manufacturer headquartered in London, UK. It is a subsidiary of SAIC Motor UK which is owned by SAIC Motors, a Chinese state-owned Shanghai-based company. The first MG car, called the Old Number one, was produced in 1924 by Cecil Kimber, followed by the MG K3 Magnette in 1933, and MG TC in 1945. In 2006 the Chinese automaker Nanjing Automobile acquired the MG marque. The first vehicles after the acquisition were launched as MG TF, MG 3 and MG 7. At present, the company’s product line-up includes models like the MG One, the MG Hector, and the MG ZS EV.
